Holding our Plans Loosely
At Two Pennies, we’ve learned that making plans is important—but so is knowing when to change them. From transitioning from pigs to chickens to reimagining the Two Pennies Store as a place that can create opportunities for local vendors, we’re learning to listen, adapt, and follow where God leads. As Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.”
60 Students - 15 Computers
What began with 24 students quickly grew into more than 60 by the end of the week, all with only 15 computers available. Our Journey team discovered that the greatest challenge wasn’t technology—it was responding to an overwhelming desire to learn. Read how God used an unexpected week in Ghana to shape the future of the Two Pennies Training Center and reveal the incredible potential of students eager to grow.
Growth and Change
What happens when God blesses a ministry with more students than you expected? Growth and Change shares how our Training Center is adapting to rapid growth, developing new leaders, and responding to the needs of children eager to learn. It’s an encouraging reminder that growth often requires change—and that God is faithful through both.
Finding Rhythm
What if lasting change isn’t found by moving faster, but by finding the right rhythm? During our recent time in Ghana, we were reminded that meaningful ministry is built one faithful step at a time. As we worked alongside Edward and our team, we discovered that creating healthy routines and consistent leadership may be one of the most important investments we can make for the future of Two Pennies Africa.
